La Bouganville

The B&B La Bouganville is located in an ancient country house, previously owned by a noblewoman who used to reside there during the summer, while on the ground floor sheep were bred for milk and cheese production. The property has been in the family since the early 1900s and has recently been renovated in compliance with anti-seismic laws, with thermal fixtures, underfloor heating, and compliant systems.

Guests will be welcomed in a family environment where they can enjoy pleasant stays, business trips, and weekends in a territory rich in historic towns, fortresses, castles, abbeys, natural and archaeological parks.

The particular location of B&B La Bouganville, on the outskirts of Macerata, allows you to be surrounded by the greenery of the Marche countryside while quickly reaching the center of the beautiful city, which is only 1.5 km away and is also served by public transport. Its proximity to the University of Macerata, reachable in 5 minutes by car, makes it an ideal accommodation for students and university professors. Located a short distance from the train station, it is the perfect starting point to reach the most suggestive and interesting historical and artistic places in Macerata and the Marche region, as well as to embark on numerous itineraries in the area, from the Sibillini Mountains to the Adriatic Sea.

Here you will find hospitality, comfort, and advice on how to reach your destinations, including the Conero and Sibillini natural parks, which are about 30 km away, the Abbadia di Fiastra nature reserve at 9 km, the Basilica of Loreto, a pilgrimage site from all over the world, at 26 km, Recanati, the city of Leopardi, at 15 km, the Santa Lucia thermal baths in Tolentino at 20 km, and the Frasassi Caves at 60 km. But above all, La Bouganville is located near the Sferisterio di Macerata, which hosts the renowned opera season from July to August, and the owners will be happy to offer a shuttle service.

The beaches of the Marche coast, awarded the Blue Flag, are a half-hour drive away. For shopping lovers, don't forget the nearby Civitanova Marche, one of the most important footwear areas, where you will find numerous factory outlets to buy the best shoes on the market, from handmade to designer brands.

B&B La Bouganville consists of only two rooms with private bathrooms, equipped with a shower cabin and private toilets, towels, bath towels, and soaps. It has one double room and one single room, which can be rented to a single group, accommodating from 1 to 3 people from the same family. You will always be the only guests in the property.

La Bouganville offers a large garden equipped for comfortable relaxation in the shade or for outdoor breakfasts, when the weather permits. It also has a fenced private parking area, an independent entrance with an automatic gate, TV, and free Wi-Fi.

In the morning, guests will be greeted with a rich and abundant breakfast with typical local products, which will be served comfortably in the room, in the dining room, or in the garden during the beautiful season. The breakfast includes espresso coffee, moka coffee, cappuccino, milk, tea, fruit juices, croissants, biscuits, rusks, butter, Nutella, homemade jams, yogurt, and above all, always fresh cakes or pastries. By communicating any preferences and/or intolerances in advance, we will do our best to meet your needs. It is also possible to obtain a breakfast voucher to be used in a well-stocked bar nearby.

The rooms are cleaned daily with sanitizing products, and the accommodation is sanitized when guests change. Notices regarding the obligation to wear masks in common areas and the anti-COVID regulations to follow are posted in the rooms, as well as the publication of the maximum prices to be applied, depending on the number of guests, of course.

Bed linen is replaced weekly, while bathroom linen is replaced every 3 days.

We will be happy to welcome your small-sized "four-legged" friends, as long as they are well-behaved and do not climb on the beds, and they remain on a leash outside the room.

Smoking is not allowed inside the property.
